Convention on the topic "Livorno, development and sustainability in a city-port. The role of the urban planning"



Next thursday to the Library of Polo Universitario Sistemi Logistici of Livorno, to Villa Joy, will hold a that it is promoted by the Provincial Section of Livorno of Centro Nazionale Studi Urbanistici (Ce.N.S.U.) with the sponsorship of the University of Pisa, of the National Council Engineers, the Municipality of Livorno, the Harbour Authority of Livorno, the Livorno Foundation and the F.A.I., Ambient Bottom Italian delegation of Livorno.

The objective of the Ce.N.S.U., is that to offer a "focus" on the city of Livorno, than in the context of the current general economic crisis weevers from the point of view of the urban planning an important moment, being in existence two town-planning processes of only capacity for the possible development of the livornese economy: the new Town development plan of the port, in phase of adoption, and the rivisitazione of the Structural Plan.

The convention, with the considerations on the new Portuale Town development plan, will stretch to evidence the conditions to the contour that this places to new the Slowly Structural one and as this last one can recepire the same ones and decline them in consideration of the new technologies and the new level of well-being that can derive some, in the respect of the landscaped and environmental resources.
